Shopping in Doncaster: Accessible by foot, car and local transport system Doncaster has many places to shop, a 5 minute drive or 20 minutes walk from the Woodborough is the Lakeside Shopping complex which has many shops to chose from. Also a 15-20 minutes walk is Doncaster Town Centre and the Frenchgate Centre with over 100 shops inside which has recently been refurbished. Doncaster is also well known for is fantastic meat and general markets in the Town Centre.The

Leisure Activities: Doncaster and local areas There is lots to see and do around Doncaster. 5 minute walk from the Woodborough is a family park with a big expanse of open grass area to play football with the kids or just relax. There also other parks and greens dotted around doncaster. Just 10 minutes walk there is a lake surrounded with pathways so if your into walking that's probably the place to go, also in the same area is the Doncaster leisure park where a VUE cinema ,Doncaster Bowl and a couple of restaurants are situated. A few minutes walk from the leisure park is the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum where most of the exhibitions are undercover so there is no need to wait for those rare sunny days. |
